Optimistic Exporters
Exporters are most positive about their companies' futures, with more than half (51%) expecting their companies' economic positions to improve one year from now.
Question
Twelve months from now, do you think the overall economic position or prospects of your company will be better, worse or about the same as they are now?
Comments
"The survey highlights how many small-to-medium sized businesses aren't taking advantage of the opportunities to grow their business by entering the global marketplace. Exporting enables companies to diversify their portfolios and weather changes in the domestic economy. And when you consider that 95 percent of the world's consumers live outside of the United States, companies that don't export are just reaching a small share of potential customers."
